This hike along the incredibly important part of the Great Wall is a really unique opportunity to experience the beauty of an unrestored section. This was the northern frontier which saw many battles over the dynasties from the enemy trying to capture this section, even as recently as 1933.
You will hike to the 24 eyed tower which had 3 stories for the ultimate watchtower to see enemies from a far and defend with force effectively.
As this section is a semi-tourist section (meaning you have to buy tickets and they have paved paths to get to the wall), it is a really easy hike which is perfect for families and those not too keen on shedding sweat and pushing your cardio limits. Nevertheless as you can see from the photos, this is another mesmerising part of the Great Wall which is truly amazing to visit.
So pack some tasty food or ask us to, and let’s go hike a part of the wall that is suitable for all!
