⚽️ How to Get a Beijing Guoan Football Ticket (As a Foreigner)

If you’re visiting Beijing and want to dive into local life in a seriously fun way — go watch a Beijing Guoan football match. The fans are passionate, the chants are loud, and the vibe? Electric. But how exactly do you get your hands on a ticket, especially if you’re not a local or don’t speak much Chinese? No worries — we’ve got you covered, step by step.



🏆 Step 1: Use an Official Platform

  1. Use the Damai App (大麦网) or search for “国安票务” on WeChat.
  • Both platforms sell official tickets (usually released 6 days before match day).
  • Prices range from ¥180 to ¥700 depending on seat and popularity.
  • Real-name ticketing is mandatory: you must enter your passport number at purchase.

🔔Important Notes:

  • Ticket sales close the night before the match; same-day purchases are not allowed.
  • You must bring your passport on match day — it’s scanned at entry and must match the name on your ticket.

🕒 Step 2: Know When to Buy

Tickets generally go on sale about 6 days before the match and sales close the night before (around 11:59 PM). You can’tbuy tickets on match day. We recommend turning on notifications in the app or WeChat so you know exactly when they’re released — the popular games sell out fast.

If You Don’t Have a Chinese Number:

Ask a local friend to:

  • Use their phone number to register and purchase the ticket.
  • Enter your full name and passport number during checkout.
  • Send you the QR code ticket via WeChat.

Can You Buy Tickets at the Stadium? What About Scalpers?

  • No on-site ticket sales for most matches.
  • Scalpers do exist near the stadium but prices vary wildly and risks are high. We don’t recommend this.

🕒 Arrive 30–60 mins early — gates can get crowded!

📄 Your passport (must match the ticket info exactly)

📱 The QR code ticket (saved in WeChat or your phone’s gallery)
