Our Chinese chess workshop introduces you to Xiangqi through hands-on play, patient guidance and a little friendly rivalry. Get to know the pieces, try your first moves and discover the stories behind this much-loved Chinese game.

A board, a few pieces and a new way to spend time together. Xiangqi opens a window onto Chinese culture through the choices you make at the table. First, we explain the river, palace and pieces. Then you can test your ideas in a match, with our instructors there to help.

Minimum charge: 2,800 CNY. This covers eight people. Smaller groups can enquire at the equivalent minimum price.
